We are a Cooperative

Being a member of Kentish Town Vegbox Co-operative means that as well as getting tasty organic fruit and veg each week, you also have the right to participate democratically in shaping the future of Vegbox.

Each member has 1 vote which can be used to vote on decisions at Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs) & Annual General Meetings (AGMs). Members may also request the board to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting if there is something they would like to discuss.

We have an elected board that meets monthly and oversees all of Vegbox’s operations. We elect the members of the board yearly at the AGM. Any of our members may run to be on the board. Below you can see a list of current board members.

Pio

Pio volunteered and worked with Vegbox for several years, helping with the weekly operations and volunteer coordination. They currently work at a Legal Aid law firm and have been on the board since 2023, trying to foster greater community access to legal representation as well as local and seasonal produce.

Morgan joined the Vegbox Board in 2022, having first become involved as a volunteer during her university years. She is deeply passionate about organic farming, food justice, and community-led local resilience initiatives.

In addition to her role at Vegbox, Morgan works for Ooooby, enjoys crafting and knitting, and participates in folk dancing. With a long-term dream of starting her own farm, Morgan brings enthusiasm and energy to everything she does.

Caleb grew up in Archway and joined Vegbox as the Marketing Coordinator when he moved back in 2021. He is a cooperative enthusiast, and also works as a freelance cooperative developer with Principle Six and is the host of the podcast Punchcard.
