I absolutely LOVE the Kentish Town Vegbox scheme. It's reasonably priced, you get a good range of seasonal veg,... including some things I'd never have tried if they hadn't appeared in my bag - and they also give you useful recipes. You collect your bags from a local drop-off point, so you don't have to pay for delivery, or make sure you're at home at any particular time. If you get the fruit option though, you do get a LOT of apples.read more

Had a great experience with Kentish Town Vegbox. The vegs are very high quality, seasonal, organic and local. I love... that they use pickup points as opposed to deliveries as it is consistent with my desire to reduce my carbon footprint. I have discovered vegs that I did not know before and, thanks to the weekly recipes, I have learnt to cook them and have significantly improved my cooking creativity and skills.read more

I was a member of the scheme when I lived near Mornington Crescent. I looked forward to the mega veg and fruit bag each... week. Such beautiful produce. Great value. Really convenient pick up near where I lived. Always brilliant responses and refunds on the extremely rare occasions there was a problem with the produce. I MISS IT!!! I now live in a rural place but it is weirdly harder to find good fruit and veg.read more

I have signed up to Vegbox for almost a year now. Out of all the somewhat similar options, this is by far the most... studetn friendly, considering the amount of fresh delicious vegetable you get.Moreover, I LOVE how the Vegbox team involves its subscribers into the development of the scheme and the attention towards our planet being put as one of the priority, with plastic bags rarely used. Plus, the weekly recipes are super tasty.As if this was not enough , they have a super responsive and very helpful team who answers any questions really fast by email.If you are not convinced yet, I will write it down: I highly recommend Vegbox!read more

We have subscribed 2 years ago and can see the impact of eating more and fresher vegetables on our health. We also have... a better conscience as we don't consume products wrapped in plastic and with a high carbon footprint. Finally, the service and communication are great.read more

Signed up to this vegbox scheme recently and have been really impressed. Veg is great quality and there's a good... selection. Picking up from the safe location is easy and means I don't have to wait around at home for a delivery at a certain time or have a box delivered overnight.read more

Great community organisation for ethically-sourced veg at price that compares v favourably with similar schemes. Go to... location & pick up bag each week, return empty bag for re-use the following week. The selection of veg includes staples but also more unfamiliar stuff that it wouldn't occur to me to buy in a shop, so has forced me to expand what I cook - which is good!read more

I think this is my first ever Google review… I am posting because I *adore* Vegbox. We get loads of inexpensive organic... veg (their fruit is lovely too, but organic fruit is never cheap). The produce is usually super fresh too, so extra delicious. I used to spend ages in the supermarket trying to work out how to minimise food miles and eat seasonal produce, but that all happens without effort with Vegbox. The bonus surprise is discovering a lovely community of people who also like these things!read more

I love this business. Local, seasonal produce, supporting local often start-up organisations. The fruit and veg boxes... are easy to collect, close to home. Being part of the organisation feels like contributing to a wider and hugely important mission of sustainability, I feel like I’m doing my bit to reduce the carbon footprint.read more

I signed my parents up for Christmas a few years ago and they have been so happy with it. Since moving home I have got... to reap the benefits of having lovely, local, organic veg every week.The thing that sticks out to me it that they invest in their community. It was started in Kentish town and still very much is located here. The excess veg or food waste is donated to local community groups and since it is a cooperative their profits don't go to a CEO or investors but back into the community.read more

I joined this scheme because it was local and good value , it also offered a discount for people with a low income. The... veggies are beautiful, they are fresh and there is a good vatiety through the weeks.The customer service is amazing. If I have any questions they are answered very quickly via email. There is a group newsletter and recpies. It is like you are buying veggies face to face from a friend and that you are really a valued customer.read more

An amazing community-run scheme which I am really grateful for. I have been part of it since about 4 years and it has... provided me with access to a wonderful range of organic, seasonal and locally sourced produce at an affordable price. It has also given me a sense of community in the kentish town area! I really recommend volunteering on a wednesday with the team, the chat is entertaining and stimulating and you can take home any surplus veg and get down to chutney making and pickling!read more

Love this local project that’s a cooperative and creates jobs as well as supporting small-scale organic farmers and... sourcing all fruit and veg from within England. Because it’s so fresh it keeps for longer and there’s much less packaging than from the supermarkets. I’ve been volunteering with them for the last three years and it’s been really rewarding and fun too.read more
